haiku in english run 3 lines, in a 5-7-5 syllable pattern.
japanese haiku run one line with the same sound pattern.
that said, a haiku should mention a season of some sort which mine doesn't have...
update: kev drank with co-workers on wed. and didn't feel like hitting joe's booze-a-palooza later on. that was cool with me. it's hard to leave joe's on steady legs.
